Skyview is a quintessential roadside motel turned boutique hotel. The original Skyview Motel was built in 1959 and is rumored to have hosted The Beatles and The Mamas and The Papas as they traveled Highway 101.

The property was fully renovated and reopened in 2018, becoming a destination within itself. Offering 33 guest rooms, a full-service restaurant, heated pool and working vineyard, this 5-acre outpost merges the best ideals of wanderlust and retreat. The historic frame of the motel was preserved, including it’s iconic motel marquee, while the guest rooms have undergone a stem to stern renovation with hardwood floors, flat panel televisions, down duvets, leather club chairs, and marble-clad bathrooms. Many rooms have indoor fireplaces and private patios along with stunning valley views.

The restaurant at Norman serves California fare with nods to the country roots of Los Alamos with a wine program that celebrates the greatest wine growing regions of the world, especially our neighbors in the Santa Ynez Valley.
