Breast Cancer Awareness Month at Nomada

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a cause close to our hearts. This month, Nomada is donating $25 from every TitTee sold online and in our hotel shops to the Breast Cancer Resource Center of Santa Barbara, helping provide free resources, education, and support to women navigating breast cancer on the Central Coast.

A CAUSE CLOSE TO OUR HEARTS

For nearly 30 years, the Breast Cancer Resource Center of Santa Barbara has helped women navigate breast cancer from diagnosis through treatment and survivorship. The organization provides a range of resources designed to help women feel informed, supported, and empowered throughout the process—from peer counseling and support groups to patient navigation, wellness programs, education, and practical resources. All BCRC services are provided completely free of charge.

“As a breast cancer survivor diagnosed in 2017, choosing the Breast Cancer Resource Center of Santa Barbara is deeply personal to me. I’m forever grateful to my doctors, the chemotherapy team at Ridley-Tree, my family of doctors, and my husband, Hamish, who helped carry me through treatment and a double mastectomy with so much care and love. As more women face a breast cancer diagnosis, places like BCRC are essential to our community in helping others find the free support, comfort, and connection they deserve."

 â€” Jill Marshall, Nomada Member
