Rosé 5 Ways: Celebrating Skyview’s Newest Vintage

From poolside pours to hotel happy hours — discover all the ways you can savor the season with Nomada

If you’ve ever visited Skyview in Los Alamos, you may have noticed the vineyard tucked into the hillside just below the hotel. Those 2.5 acres of Pinot Noir vines are the source of something special: Skyview’s very own estate-grown rosé.

Back in 2018, Nomada partnered with Mikey and Gina Giugni — the duo behind Scar of the Sea and Lady of the Sunshine — to vinify Skyview’s grapes into a crisp, refreshing rosé that tastes like summer in a glass. Seven vintages later, the collaboration is still going strong.

“This year’s rosé might be our best yet,” says winemaker Mikey Giugni. “Pinot Noir and Chardonnay were picked and pressed together for this [vintage]. The grapes were fermented with native yeast in old French oak barrels, then aged for 8 months before bottling. This wine is vibrant and juicy, with notes of watermelon, clementine, and pink flowers.”

Exclusively available across Nomada hotels and restaurants, the 2024 Skyview Rosé is here, and we’re celebrating with more ways than ever to experience it. Wherever you check in, there’s a glass of Skyview Rosé waiting for you.
