The Art of the Nightcap: By the Batch
PART WORKSHOP. PART HAPPY HOUR. PULL UP A STOOL.
The secret to great holiday hosting? Spending less time behind the bar and more time enjoying the party. This November, The Art of the Nightcap returns to Nightcap at Granada Hotel & Bistro with By the Batch, a hands-on cocktail workshop dedicated to making large-format drinks that are every bit as good as cocktails made to order.
Through expert-led demonstrations and guided practice, guests will explore the art of batching cocktails, from getting the proportions and dilution just right to mastering preparation and presentation. It's part cocktail class, part happy hour, and a chance to get ahead of the holiday hosting rush.
The Art of Batching Cocktails
A great batched cocktail is more than a single recipe multiplied by the number of guests. Getting the balance right takes an understanding of proportions, dilution, and how ingredients come together when prepared in larger quantities.
During By the Batch, the Nightcap bar team will break down the techniques behind making large-format cocktails without sacrificing quality. Guests will learn how to properly scale recipes, account for dilution, and prepare drinks ahead of time, all while keeping flavor and presentation in mind.
Better Cocktails, Less Time Behind the Bar
Holiday entertaining should be about enjoying the company, not spending the evening mixing drinks. With a few practical techniques, batched cocktails can make hosting easier without compromising what's in the glass.
Whether you're planning a holiday dinner party, hosting a festive gathering, or simply looking to expand your home bartending skills, By the Batch offers an approachable way to learn from the experts and put those skills to use at your next celebration.
By the time the party begins, your bartending shift ends.
